James Whitford

Managing Director

James joined European Geophysical Services in 1996, as a geophysical logging engineer having previously worked on various surface geophysical projects.

In 1998 James was appointed as a director and in 2017 took over as Managing Director.

James has a passion for Land Rovers and all things outdoors, which is what initially led him to geology; an outdoors job driving Land Rovers off road!  As well as his work, James enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and hill walking with his dog Beinn.

BSc Honours in Mining and Exploration Geophysics from Cardiff University.
